Get ready for an egg-tastic event!

Niantic have announced an Easter event for Pokemon GO, which will give its players*double XP, higher egg hatch rates, and a better chance of rare Pokemon from eggs.The event will last a week, and starts today, April 13.
Below are the details from Pokemon GO’s site.

Lace up your walking shoes and get ready to put a spring in your step—the Pokémon GO Eggstravaganza is nearly here! From 1:00 P.M. PDT on April 13 to 1:00 P.M. PDT on April 20, 2017, a greater variety of Pokémon can now be found in 2 km Eggs, so get cracking and see what you find! Your Egg-venture doesn’t stop there, though—you’ll also earn more Candy for every Egg you hatch!
Throughout this Eggstravaganza, you’ll also level up even faster with double XP! Combine this Egg-cellent bonus with a Lucky Egg, and you’ll earn four times the XP you normally would. To make this Eggstravaganza even sweeter, Lucky Eggs will be 50% off in the in-game shop!

Eh....I wish there was a way to hatch these eggs faster or another way. I got all these eggs and not enough time to walk.

Loving this event. I am walking a lot xD Hatched an Onix from a 2km egg so far haha! Also a Magnemite from a 5km egg which is awesome as I've only hatched one before, but got like 24 candies for it and only need a couple more to evolve it :D
