When I was about three, they were offered a chance to go to Antarctica to snap some pictures for National Geographic. It was only supposed to be for a week. I got to come along because we didn't have any family or anyone to look after me.
Well, I don't remember much at that age, so I can't recall specific memories. But after a week was over and my parents had gotten some things for National Geographic, they were so captured by the place that they asked for an extended stay, which they were granted. And we pretty much lived there with a small crew of people working for National Geographic for about a month. I never chased penguins, but at least I've been near a wild one. Don't remember much other than it being really cold.
...Was that believable?
