I get your point but I don't think this means they HAD to make 2 whole games just for one little difference. They could easily have a choice at the start where you pick whether you played Sun or Moon previously if it's that important to the story. (Besides I would probably choose to play Ultra Moon even though I played Sun, for something different) I just feel like it's a bit of a cashgrab when they do stuff like this where one game would have sufficed. xD

Oh don't get me wrong, it's a TOTAL cash grab, but that doesn't mean it's just because they want to make more money. There's probably plot purpose to it too like in BW2, that's all.

Well this is kinda lame... Does anyone actually want to play through Alola again already? Why do they need to make 2 versions...

I'm thinking the same thing right now. I was kind of hoping for something much different and cool to come out of this Direct, but it just seems like... more remakes. Ah well.

Yeah at least if they were for the Switch then it would be a bit different. :/ On the plus side, no need to buy a Switch xD

Also apparently them listing that there would eventually be a Switch version on some official website was incorrect and they have made a statement that there is no planned release for the Switch. :|

I'll be honest and I hate to say it, but I don't have a Switch yet and I haven't really seen anything that pushes me to rush out and get one. Especially since trying to get it off Amazon involves having to deal with third party shenanigans. No way, Jose.

I would have loved something like a new PMD game or maybe something akin to Pokemon Colosseum or XD Gale of Darkness coming out for the Switch (now that might have pushed me to buy one!). This is more along the lines of "oh, okay."

When I was younger, I discovered the existence of Shadow Pokemon and became obsessed with the idea of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness... Never did get an opportunity to play it. Having a sequel to Colloseum for the 3DS would've been a dream come true...

Gale of Darkness was really good. I liked it even more than Colosseum! I hope you get to play it one day :) (maybe they'll add it to virtual console some day haha)

It would be nice. I haven't even played it, yet I've still wanted to. Thought the idea was interesting.

Gale of Darkness was actually pretty damn fun, although I liked Colosseum a bit better.
