I collect too much useless stuff.
So, first off, I collect DVDs. Well, I don't collect them but I like having complete sets so if there is a film I don't have in a franchise or a season of a show I don't have I need to have it. I have too many. I legit have hundreds and that's me being selective and getting rid of most of the dvds I have grown out of. I once piled up all the dvds I had and I had almost two piles taller than me (I'm about 5ft8 I think) I recently in the last week bought 2 seasons of supernatural, 2 of doctor who, 2 of Torchwood and the two seasons of Humans. most were to complete collections for shows. Over the last year I wouldn't be surprised if I had spent maybe £400 on dvds.
I also collect figures. Mostly pop vinyls which I have about 12 or so now. 3 of them limited editions, so looking forward to seeing how much they will go for in the future. I also have other figures but Pops are my main collection. I have 3 FNAF pops, 1 doctor who pop, 1 zombie pop, 1 walking dead pop, 1 supernatural pop and some others I can't think of at the top of my head. I priced them all up and I think in total all my figures were worth about £500. That's with the limited edition Skull Kid Majora's Mask figure Nintendo were giving out with the 3DS bundle. (You can still buy it on the website for £20 I think, not sure but when I was in New York I saw it in a shop with an asking price of about $175. Not sure if that's what they go for now or if it's a total rip off)
I also kind of collect geek t-shirts. Every 6 months there is an event called MCM Comic-Con where people cosplay and theres loads of merchandise. I get all my t-shirts from here. I've tried to cut down on them now but I usually get about 4 each time and also get more pop-vinyls and other merchandise. They also have Japanese candy and drinks so I get them too.

So basically, I'm a hoarder. haha.

Like Coru I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to media, I've probably dropped thousands of dollars on dvds both tv and movies, books, and music, didn't change much when media moved mostly to digital format. I'm probably around 10-15 tbs of digital media, and I still have most of the physical copies of the same stuff XD. I've run out of usb ports so a couple of my older externals just sit there and collect dust, I've even got a couple of old internals which i keep maxed out at 80% of capacity, filled with full albums and older anime, while i keep copies of the songs I listen to with frequency and anime that I watch like once a year (Bebop, old street fighter movies, etc.) on my current HDDs.

I'm actually trying to clear out space, for gamecaps, but my innate hoardiness is making it a bit rough lol

I collect Pokemon plushes, I guess. If I had the money I'd easily have a whole room filled with anime and manga, though. But...broke. D:
