Strange Pokemon Trailer for a “Mysterious” Announcement

The official Japanese Pokemon YouTube channel has released a strange trailer video today.
It shows some of the more mysterious moments from the Pokemon games, including Celebi, dancing Clefairy and Arceus from HGSS, the Distortion World in Platinum, Deoxys from ORAS and Ultra Beasts and references to UFOs from Sun and Moon. The video ends with the Unown music from HGSS and pictures of Unown saying “Is something happening?” in Japanese.
The video has creepy background music and is interspersed with the following text:

“Is this a time slip?” the video begins. “Is it manipulating time? It came from the moon? Is it a space virus? Is this an encounter with aliens?”
“The battle with the alien invader has begun! Is this the underside of this world? Is this a puzzle of ancient relics? Is this an attack from a parallel universe? Is it possessing humans?”

The video is linked to a Japanese website with two images – one of two agent-like people confronting three Elgyem and one of Ultra Beasts. The Unown music places in the background and the words “coming soon” are above the date of the announcement: July 19th. You can watch the trailer below.

Some believe it may be related to Pokemon Stars, but others have pointed out that it is a Pokémon Daisuki Club – the official Japanese Pokemon fan club – video, which are usually just used to announce new merchandise or other minor promotions in Japan.
Either way, the lore surrounding the Pokemon world is definitely interesting to delve into! Here’s hoping they’ll explore it a little more.

I got kinda excited about this and then I did some more reading and apparently it's most likely nothing. XD But the video is still creepy and worth a watch!
