Good luck! ;_; I went yesterday for the first time in 8 years (oops) o_o

I need one filling and to get my wisdom teeth out. Could have been worse. xD

Ouch. Yeah... I actually go twice a year because I'd lose sleep over it otherwise. As for the wisdom teeth, I think just about everyone has had to get those taken out. I brush twice a day, floss at night, and use mouthwash to rinse. Trust me, I WISH I was that diligent back when I was a kid. If I ever have kids, brushing teeth is definitely going to be big on the list.

As for me, it's the doctor I haven't seen in a while (four years). My insurance doesn't cover general practitioner visits, so I'd end up dropping something like $400 for a visit (includes lab work from blood test). @.@ I feel pretty healthy, I've been exercising, I don't get sick often, and my weight is fine, so I think I'm okay for the most part.

Yikes 4 years without a doctor! I guess it's the opposite here. We can see doctors for cheap/free but man, dentists are expensive D: I try to avoid the doctor unless I suspect it's a bacterial thing that needs treatment.

I don't know how I'm gonna go with the wisdom teeth thing. I can either be put to sleep and get all of them out or they can just remove the one problem one under local anesthetic, which takes 30-40mins according to my dentist. I really don't wanna go to hospital but it might be easier to just get it over with. =/

Sleep it out. Trust me, I wanted to sleep even for just a minor surgery on my index finger. Reason being is that I don't want to be awake as grizzly-looking tools and knives are being passed around and I'm just lying there helplessly as every painful second slowly passes. Sure, a local anesthetic will numb the pain, but there's still just the WAITING and KNOWING and the WATCHING of what they're doing in the meantime that's a killer. I'd rather just wake up and everything's done. It's the closest you can get to just jumping in a time machine and going to the point in the future to where it's all over with.

Oh Lord, please see to it that Xanthe's dentist visit is as painless as can be with no cavities. Let it be done as swiftly as can be so she can return to our virtual home from home happily. :)

Aww Neo, you're so cute. :] Thankfully it was painless! I had to get two injections though because one didn't numb my face enough, haha. It was so weird because after it was all done, I stood up and felt quite shaky and dopey, and I started laughing at things that shouldn't have been funny. xD So I sat down for about 15 minutes before I drove home. Luckily the drive's less than ten minutes. Even now I feel a little 'tipsy' and can't feel half my face. XD

OH MY GOSH I went for the first time in four years. XD And hey, that is pretty good! I got one filling today and I need to get another next week. But I knew I'd have to get this one done, as it had been bothering me and I knew the hole was quite deep. :x So I'm glad it's all fixed up. c:

I think the best solution is just sleep it off. By the time you wake up, things should be back to normal. But hey, glad it was painless!

For me, it felt SO WEIRD. I was almost afraid it would be stuck like that, and I probably would have gone nuts if it did.

As for me, today was okay. Got a new pair of sneakers from Zappos, and they feel great! Trying to find my size (12", 4E) in a store is next to impossible, and I've tried.

And hey, glad you like the banners! The original, non-animated ones were banners I've been making for a while, but I personally felt they were my favorite style to work with and felt like my best. But it wasn't until I came across this post on Imgur that things took a different turn. I saw these "trippy GIFs" and some of them were really weird, but there were plenty that were really cool. And I got to wondering if it was possible to incorporate them into banners. Not only was it possible, but it gave some really awesome results!

Incorporating those GIFs takes a little time and work (some of them have 50+ frames!), but the results are definitely worth it. Some of them kind of remind me of the battle backgrounds in Earthbound (heck, those might be cool to use as well). They're fun to work with!

I can do a really REALLY good exaggerated southern accent but to be fair that's like my natural accent just exaggerated, so it's not too hard. I can also do the Crocodile Hunter Australian accent but since like 100% of Australians don't sound like that I'm trying to practice a more accurate one. So I was practicing a sentence with reckon in it, but the probably is, reckon is also a word that triggers my southern accent so it just sounded really funny and awful. XD
