I much prefer cold weather to heat!!! With the cold you can layer up, but there's only so much you can strip off in the heat. Especially here in the UK, pretty much only Starbucks has air conditioning here.

Our landlord doesn't allow pets, I wish we had one :( But I have a hot water bottle in the shape of a penguin

I don't know what laws you have about that but I'm pretty sure that here in the US even if a place doesn't allow pets they still have to allow service and therapy animals as long as you have paperwork for them.

I was always wondering about that.

If an apartment building says "no pets," does that just apply to dogs and cats, or ALL pets? Like they wouldn't even want you keeping a goldfish or a hermit crab?
