[Wookie Mistake]

I tried Fiji water, and it's exactly the same as other waters. Sure, it as a cool looking label that does actually make it look more refreshing, but it's still the same water! XD



What we do is buy a bulk pack of bottled water, which means it's only a few cents per bottle. We toss a few bottles in the fridge, and if we go to the food court, we just take the bottles of water with us rather than playing $1.50 for it. Saves an enormous amount of money.

But yeah, the markup on bottled water is absolutely insane.

I honestly can't tell the difference between bottled waters, lol, as long as it tastes like water I'm good.

Yup, that's what I do too, I go through it pretty fast since I spend a lot of time working outdoors, so I try to buy in bulk whenever possible. I usually go with ice mountain since it's bottled here, and a little cheaper.

That Artesian water from Norway is nice and smooth. But 2.54 a bottle is redonkulous

I remember hearing once that Dasani is basically the water that they use to make their coke products, so it's basically filtered tap water, I don't know if it's true or not.

Well it makes sense if your tap water tastes bad. All I drink is water so I'm really glad mine is good or I'd be poor. XD

When I was in Europe, it was pretty hard to find drinking water taps. :/ That was one of the most annoying things. The other being having to pay to use the toilet. xD

Yeah the tap water here isn't the greatest where I am. The pipe lines have busted so many times on this road I don't trust it and their chemicals they use to flush it anymore at all. So I'll wash with it, but I won't drink it anymore. Bottled water it is!

It was really weird! The first time I went to the bathroom in public was in this little french town and a lady ran after me yelling??? I didn't even notice honestly cos she was yelling in another language xD But my grandma came over and gave the lady like 10 cents or something and told me you're supposed to pay... It was pretty weird.

Even in McDonalds you got to use the toilet only if you bought food from there (they had a lock on the toilet door and you had to enter the code on your receipt). Pretty crazy! And on the streets in cities I saw these cubicle things you had to put money in to enter and use the toilet.

Seriously, Europe is so weird about toilets. XD Here there are public toilets in every town, shopping center, restaurant etc.!

I'm not sure... the American toilets I saw were full of water though, which I found weird. xD Our toilets only have a little bit of water at the very bottom.

Geez that's awful! That's like true torture to make people pay to use a restroom. The buying things to use the restroom is common too. It's not everywhere here, but some people don't like people using the restroom unless they buy something. I can see why because some places people only do wrong there. Like at my work. People take things in there and try hiding things on their person. We had people try to take knives out of their packages and hide it. Some gone horribly wrong and....made a mess. Latest one I found. Someone took something sharp all along the top of the counter where the sinks are in the women's restroom and scratched the surface from one complete end to the other. People are just awful and cause things like "pay to use the bathroom." Then again I remember now that I think about it. As a kid I saw some backend gas station restrooms where you could buy condoms or tampons from some machine right in the bathroom. Oddest things you can find in restrooms sometimes.

Yeah I can see pros and cons to both. They had attendants in most of the public bathrooms I had to pay in, who I guess cleaned up and made sure that no one wrecked anything. But on the other hand if people don't have change they might just go anywhere and make a bigger mess. xD
