Delving into dreams is a pretty cool concept. It's always weird how there are times when they make you believe total weirdness is acceptable reality and that if you figure out it's a dream, strange things can happen.
It's just crazy to think that you can actually dream within a dream. I thought it was all made-up for the sake of the movie, but I was wrong. I've personally experienced dreaming within a dream and it's quite something.

Somehow, someway, by some magical spell or sleight of hand/mind/soul, I managed to escape high school without having to read The Great Gatsby. Oh, there were multiple close calls where I almost got slapped with having to read it, but I dodged them all. >:3

He should've gotten an Oscar for The Wolf of Wall Street as well.

LOL. We never read it at my school and I haven't seen the movie either... People went mad for it but I don't feel like I'm missing anything. xD

We got to study Mean Girls in my year 9 English class. It was awesome! My class was the only one that got to do it, the other classes had to do What's Eating Gilbert Grape. xD

I don't think I actually finished a book I was supposed to read for class from ever since I finished ninth grade. I remember in my old AP Lang class, I lost steam halfway through and could not for the life of me finish Walden by Henry David Thoreau, but my teacher was new and young and cool, so she tells me if I write up a however many page essay on the book, she'd take the failed quizzes off the grade book. So I spent the next day writing an essay about why Henry David Thoreau is an egotistical jerk with no right to writing any book, much less one about how much better he is that whoever's reading it.

I just... He got to me. I feel like Thoreau wrote specifically to irritate whoever read his work.

I enjoyed Walden. Thoreau shared a unique perspective on life and I actually learned a few things from it. I can definitely see why people wouldn't like his work though. It's not as... fun. xD
