I'm so glad I don't have to deal with all that. My best bro is about to be in his final semester, but he has 5 finals in his way....5 freaking finals, i would be losing my mind.

I think the most I've had was four finals in one semester. And it was brutal, where some of those finals would either make or break my grade. Well, sure glad those days are over.
I don't get why exams and tests are given so much emphasis in school when it's really your ability to put knowledge and know-how into practice and experience, not memorize it so you can just spit it out on a piece of paper and then proceed to forget everything five minutes later.
I have a feeling assessments will change in future, now that we all have access to google 24/7, memorising stuff isn't that important.
I happen to be a lazy student with a good memory though so I LOVED exams and hated assignments. XD If I could do a mega huge scary giant exam to pass my PhD instead of writing a thesis I would totally do it. :P

For me, it was exactly the opposite. Exams destroyed me, but writing essays, reports, and doing presentations was something I knew how to rock at and it only got better as I figured out all the cool stuff in Photoshop to help with the graphics. Also, after writing novels that were over 200 pages, single-spaced for fun, getting an assignment to write a report that was 10 pages double-spaced was like asking me how my walk in the park was. The only really pesky thing was finding quotes and citations to use and incorporating them into my written reports. That was like really the only thing that actually slowed me down. I could be on a writing spree and then I'd have to stop and insert someone else's blurbs into my stuff "just because." But yeah, stuff that would take people weeks was the kind of thing I could crank out in less than a day and still have time for fun stuff afterword.
I only ever had exams in high school because I didn't go to uni. XD I went to a games school...no exams there. Lel.
Exams are the epitome of pointless. How can one little test define such a large percentage of your grade for the ENTIRE YEAR? Some people pass out from the stress they cause... Like...exams are so stupid. xD
My strategy for exams is to study until the day of, then I completely ignore the fact that I have an exam by thinking about other things so I don't get stressed. I only get stressed if I think about it for a while.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO

THISSSSSSSSSSSSS.
I didn't have too many exams in grad school, but there was a really terrible accounting exam that nobody did well on because Mr. Numbnut decided "oh, let's make the exam have nothing that was on the study guide!" Total garbage.
