I really commend the girls out there that go and ask guys. Some women tend to rely on a guy to do it and him alone. Yeah I imagine it'd be odd asking someone only to find out they're not interested or gay. I've had my fair share of no's and scoffles. By now I've gotten so used to being turned down I just sigh and brush it off my shoulder. Still never feels good.

Haha, I'm pretty shy when it comes to doing it myself. I mean it takes a lot to come right out and say it. At least for me. I don't like looking like a fool and making it only worse for myself. First impression to some mean everything. But it's no matter. It's a happy time for you, so don't let anyone get you down. Since we were just on the topic I mentioned how it was all going for me and everyone seemed to follow suit...aha.

Hey, if I like a guy I'm not sitting around until they ask me out. If you want something bad enough, you go and get it. Or at least try. It bugs me more than anything when people say they're too shy to do something. I'm a super shy person, but if you really like someone and want to try, isn't it worth it?

A few years ago I would have been too shy to even tell someone I liked them. Now I'm like what is there to lose? Though I have only been in two relationships, both long term which started as friendship, and never had to do the scary asking parts. xD

Well, Gemma, it's because I've never been in a relationship so every time I've attempted to start one it's ended in failure. So until I actually get a yes I probably won't feel confident enough to ask.

My thing is I get nervous. And I get hit with that ping that says "eh, maybe I'm not good enough for her" or "eh, she's probably got a boyfriend already." I don't know why I get that way sometimes, but yeah, that's the thing that usually causes me to just walk away and carry on.
