Michigan's tap water is pretty good, we've got the Great Lakes so we have the largest source of fresh water anywhere, which makes the whole Flint thing even stupider.

I like the taste of our tap water, or at least I don't notice any sort of bad taste, though if you live farther out from the city you may need hard water softener, especially if you have an artesian well.
