Same here. My boss reprimanded me for doing stuff on the phone too often, so now whenever there's a bit of downtime, I kind of just blankly stare into space, yet am facing my notebook to look like I'm reading work-related material.

What's the harm in spending a few minutes to watch a funny cat GIF, hmm? Isn't that's what the internet is for!?

Ah that sucks. I tilt my laptop away from everyone so no one can see what I'm doing. Which is generally PXR related. xD I am in the corner, so it works out. If anyone comes past, I flick open a word document haha.

Ha, ha, but yeah, I'm sitting in a bad spot where my boss can just sneak up on me at any moment to see what I'm doing, and he really does like to wander around a lot.

From now on, I'll just take internet breaks in the bathroom. Heading outside to the parking lot is another possible option. Weather's been nicer, so that I can roll with.

Ah that's too bad Neo. I've almost been caught out a few times because my laptop is so laggy, it will freeze and I can't click out of what I'm doing even though I have plenty of warning. Considering I'm still a student, no one really cares all that much though. It's not just the embarrassment of being caught on a Pokemon site :P

I only settle and browse the net when I am sure I am in an angle where nobody would be able to see what's in my laptop. Mostly just my SNS or Pokemon forums, but still I enjoy privacy XD

(plus people tend to ask what am i doing on that site and its kinda annoying)

I always wonder why people are always trying to hide their laptops in public when someone walks by. It's like someone walks by and you hug your laptop to death to keep people from getting a peek at what you might be doing.

MAybe its their privacy thing? Some people get annoyed when random people keep on looking at their stuff. Which is me, every time in public transportations with a seatmate using their phones and I'm peeping for no reason XD it's a bad habit.

The way I see it is if you won't want people looking then don't use your stuff in public for people to see. People will be curious and nosey...kinda like me...lol.

When I'm out in public, I usually just stick with using my phone for internet browsing and searching. I then not to use my work computer for that kind of stuff because you never know how they're looking at the history, browsing, or whatever.
