When I'm out in public, I usually just stick with using my phone for internet browsing and searching. I then not to use my work computer for that kind of stuff because you never know how they're looking at the history, browsing, or whatever.

That's a good point. My school laptop technically belongs to me even though it is registered to the university. I got it as part of my scholarship. It is my only computer so I use it for everything at home and uni. xD I've seen people playing MMOs in the library on uni internet do I'm not too weird about it. I imagine a workplace would be stricter though.

Best part is I get free photoshop xD

Back in school, the laptops we had were awful. They easily broke, had software issues, were very slow, and had very little memory to do anything with. Since there weren't too many games that could be played on them, I mostly just wrote novels during free blocks of time.

But yeah, I don't use my work laptop for anything but work. I've got a better computer for fun stuff anyway.

Yeah I should probably buy a new computer once I finish uni. The laptop is pretty horrible sometimes, lagging for no reason. It was at 0% CPU, but 99% Physical Memory and it took 5 minutes to open task manager the other day... all I had open was Firefox. xD I think it's because the uni packs them with stupid anti-virus software that lags everything to death. But I shouldn't complain, I got a free laptop haha.

I bought a new laptop last week. I got it two days ago. I absolutely adore it. It is the new Retina MacBook Pro. People say it is overpriced, but from what I have experienced yet, it was worth every cent. :P

Actually, being bored at school with a crummy laptop and getting sick of writing novels that would never be published was how I decided I'd just give writing Pokemon fan fiction a shot, just to see what it was like. And ironically, searching for a site where I could just post it to share with others is exactly how I found PE2K, and the idea of people finally reading and reviewing my stuff made me excited.

So if it wasn't for that crappy laptop... wow, I might not have ever found PE2K and joined this community. Crazy how things work like that.

I'm looking for an apartment also, but everything around here is so expensive for what you get. I still don't think I'd be able to afford moving out unless I go to a completely different state where the rent is cheaper.

Places I'm looking at are approx £350-400 a month (without bills) and I'm earning £800-1000 a month. Only on minimum wage, but I'm doing a ton of hours (40+ a week). Fortunately rent around here is pretty cheap as it's not a glamorous city, similar places in London would cost at least 3x as much.
