Old NES games were PACKED with glitches and other oddities. It usually meant you had to blow on the cartridge. It happened less with SNES games and in N64 games, they were usually rare, but they were definitely weird.
I remember that Super Mario 64 DS had a boatload of glitches, and I literally got a list of them from a guy on GameFAQs and started trying to execute them all.

I remember in the Sega Genesis version of Home Alone, if you used finished off the crooks Harry and Marv with the Electro Magnet gun in the Old House (which was falling apart and had weird music to begin with), the finishing cut scene would become scrambled with a horrifically loud buzzing sound and would just freeze. It's crazy how distinctly I remember this, because it used to TERRIFY me as a kid when I played it.

Looking back today, I'd probably be like... eh, whatever.

I always loved glitches. I tried all of them in the early Pokemon games :D

Today was the first warm day in ages. I missed the sun!

What's everyone up to this weekend? I got a new laptop so I'm messing around with it, but it's so nice outside I feel guilty for being inside. xD

My dad and I are buying a Mossberg 500A1, which is for those who don't know, a shotgun. This would be the first gun our family has ever owned. It's good considering we've been robbed before, and if the rest of the world goes to hell, we can at least protect ourselves. And as a person who has had to call 911 before, emergency response time is too long to leave to chance. Too much can happen in those few minutes.

We've both taken a few training classes and have become familiar with how to load and shoot a shotgun, so we're ready for it. It's a good thing to have around, but I'm really, really hoping we never have to use it on anything save for a target at the range.

Sarah is right about the weather. It is so nice today. I am currently at home sipping on a nice cold beer on the deck, enjoying the peace and quiet. I am also harassing the puppy. Granted, she is 3 but still acts like a puppy. If you pat her but stop, and leave your hand there, she goes insane. It is quite amusing.

Tonight should be cool. I do a lot of sound and AV work there, and have a key. Because of that, if the buildings free, I can pretty much use it however I want. A bunch of us are going there for a movie later on the big screen (puts cinema screens to shame) then to a friends place after.

Ooh that's interesting Neo! Guns scare me but I guess if everyone else was allowed to have one, I'd want one too, to feel safe! I imagine guns are harder to aim than they seem. Speaking from the experience of trying to aim in archery. xD

    What is happiness?
    It's being called by someone
It's being able to call someone
It's when someone is thinking of you
But Heaven has none of this
A lizard girl took pity on God
So the lizard girl tore God in two and brought a half from Heaven to Earth

We watched Shutter Island. I is my favourite movie, and I have been trying to talk my friends into watching it for a while. Half of us had seen it and half hadn't. It is the sort of movie where you get a lot out of it watching again. That was the fourth time I'd seen it and noticed new things.

Shutter Island was a good movie. I should really rewatch it one of these days. I remember watching it sometime around when I saw Shawshank Redemption, and personally I like the latter better. Not to say both aren't great, or that either is my favorite, but when I think of one, I think of the other.
    not that serious
