Do you guys get days off for thanksgiving? If we had it here, I would be pretty thankful for that xD

Also the food always looks really good when I see people having thanksgiving on tv :P I've never tried an actual turkey :O

Depends on what sort of job you're doing/what kind of school you go to. I think my college closes Wednesday afternoon (though it doesn't matter for me; my only class is at 8:00 in the morning), and we get the rest of the week off. I've known of some places that give all of Wednesday off. Monday and Tuesday usually aren't days off.

I get the Wednesday before, the Thursday of, and Friday after thanksgiving off. I usually also have a bunch of school events lined up int the weeks before and after so I get more days off.

I'm taking the whole week off, but Thanksgiving and Black Friday are company holidays, so I'm only using three vacation days there.

We're having Thanksgiving at my brother's place this year. It's the first time we're doing it there, so it should be new and fun to try out.

My work closes early on Thanksgiving. Sometime in the afternoon. Nobody works any later than 3 or 4pm to my knowledge.

Still longer than they should stay open, but hey. Holiday pay.

After finally getting a job (seasonal/temporary, but a job nonetheless) I did find out we have Thanksgiving off....but Black Friday I'll be working. So there's that downside I guess lol. Instead of staying away from all that...I'm going to be directly IN that crowd lol.

My family usually likes celebrating Thanksgiving at my grandparents house while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV. The best part food wise to me has always been the ham....the turkey to me (whoever makes it in the family) makes it flavorless. So besides that it's always a really amazing!

Normally I'd spend thanksgiving with the family since it's one of the few times of the year everyone's together but I'm going to the beach this year instead so.

I don't know what we're doing for Thanksgiving... honestly. Pretty sure I'll know around that time, though, we'll see. Hopefully I'll magically not have to go because of my program starting. I HOPE, honestly. I've been waiting for this for a long time.
