I have a local card / game shop that sells imported games, but their price is.. really something.

Well, I have a Power-Ups Reward Card, and activated it last night. The prizes don't seem all that great, though, and I have no interest in pretty much any of them. u_u Maybe if they had EShop cards so I can get digital games instead, I'd be interested? I guess. I barely buy games nowadays. :x
I've stopped buying anything online because the Australian dollar is so bad right now that it ends up costing almost double what I could get it for a few years ago. xD Also shipping sucks.
I love libraries! Free books! I only go out and buy books from stores if I've read them and loved them! Otherwise I pick them up secondhand.
I love book stores in general. I just wish they were doing better but because of technology I fear of book stores going down. I enjoy them since they're so peaceful and I honestly want to work at a book store for my first job. I just like peaceful atmospheres at times. It's quite enjoyable. I do need to get back into reading since the only thing I've been reading as of lately is manga.
I never order online... but I can make my parents do it.
:D
Wow, I'm bad.
The only books I've been reading willingly include manga or humorous/satirical works (such as The Darwin Awards). I'd go for other books, but...nothing really catches my attention, not unless it is a critically acclaimed book or something.
On a related note—and also relevant to the topic of online shopping—I started rereading a manga series only to find 22 out of 35 chapters available online and am now seriously contemplating buying the volumes containing the remaining chapters either on my iPad or Nook because of how much I want to finish it. (The anime doesn't cover everything and has a different ending than and the light novel both anime and manga were based on, well... I want to get to that after finishing the manga.) I just wish manga were cheaper; $7.99 is a lot... (Granted, books in general are pretty expensive. And people wonder why we prefer to pirate them off the Internet...)
EDIT: ...Huh, Barnes & Noble sells them for about $1.50 cheaper on Nook than Apple sells them on iOS. Thank goodness.
Offline shopping: last time I bought something, I bought myself a keychain. That was October. The time before that, I bought another keychain. One for a friend online, and one for myself. I had to do a lot to make sure it could be sent because it didn't fit in a normal envelope, so I had to go out and buy a cushioned envelope... I didn't know how much trouble it'd be to just get one little present through the post office.
I barely buy anything online anymore. I prefer shopping in stores. I have less restraint online so I try to avoid online shopping tbh, but I also rarely buy anything unless I need it if shopping IRL.
So, I'm in need of some help. I'm trying to get a female shiny ralts, kirlia, or gardevoir but I have neither the time nor patience to hunt for one. Any recommendations on how to get one besides power saves or injection?
I've never had a card that works online so I always had to put money in paypal first, which takes like a week. So that stops me from impulse shopping. xD Otherwise it would be really hard to stop! So many cute pokemon things out there. ;_;
Do you mean you want a legit one or you just can't power save/inject it yourself? I only have a male one that I found when collecting Synchronise Ralts of every nature using the Dex Nav xD
ALSO I WIN!
