I know, I could hop on Match.com and look for girlfriends to date using that. My mom and dad used something similar to that (a non-website version, as this was before the internet) and my brother used it to find the girlfriend he's currently engaged to. And I've found fun and cool females, but they were already taken. One female Gamestop employee was really cool and fun to talk to, but she was already engaged to a guy that didn't really care for video games (>.<!)

I also think I would end up spoiling my girlfriend. I like watching and being there when people get excited and happy, and building memories to last a lifetime is something I enjoy doing, but my wallet and savings account seem to disagree. :P
Yeah my best friend recently came back from Japan telling me I "NEED TO FIND A GIRLFRIEND!!" So he tried to get me to make an account on some sites he showed me....which I declined. Most he showed me were Asian sites or Lation for some reason (though I have nothing against it). I just feel like those sites often times lead to a lot of frustration more than anything. But hey! Online dating isn't a bad thing.

Yeah I would feel the same way. I'd always want to keep my girlfrined (whenever I get one) happy. So buying her lots of stuff would be involved haha! It's all part of bonding together more and showing each other you truly enjoy the other's company and who they are as a person rather than them just being "someone." If anything just getting a girlfriend would be an achievement really. If anything, even if it didn't bear any fruit in terms of a long term relationship no matter what you try. It'd be something to experiece at least! It would also be good knowing you put forth your best effort, but not everyone is the same and some may not like the "super giving" kind of thing. I'm a bit too nice sometimes it can kinda be my downfall =3
