My step-mum told me last week to save up for a holiday, and my first response was "but who would I go with?" xD I don't find holidays are very interesting when you can't share it with anybody. Sure is, I can barely afford to provide for myself with all the bills. Y UR GST SO HIGH, AUSTRALIA?

Yeah, that makes me feel as though they care more for themselves than my actual interests (which is probably the case anyway). Ahaha, that's like me when I listen to my friends and their experiences. xD I'm just like "uuuuuuuum yeah." *sits back and listens* Smile and nod lol.

Yeah, but if every, EVERY, time it's the same excuse "I'm busy"...that's just mean. 3: And no, he's not out of town or country last time I checked. xD Facebook lol. I find that more often than not, people just don't talk to me. And that makes me feel as though I'm not very interesting at all, or I'm doing something wrong. But that can't be, because I try my best to be nice. Is my niceness not enough? D: That makes me sad. If there was an explanation, yeah, that would be fine. If they didn't have money I would totally understand. But I got nothing. None of that, just a 'thanks' when receiving my gift and that was the end of that. I didn't feel right asking so I just dropped it.
Ah, no rant blogs are good. In fact this is probably the best place for it! I mean your surrounded by friends who support you here! I did it (not expecting much a response), but to my surprise I got a lot of feedback and support from it. Really helped me feel better to get it all out you know? I even got to know a lot of you all here a bit better from it. Yeah I've got friends now living all over the world (it's odd looking at that and seeing it...some spread out all over the US, some in the UK, some Canada, and now even a few in AUS and Japan). I've always heard AUS was higher priced. it's odd before I came here my family kinda talked about moving to AUS if things ever got too bad here (frankly I feel like it's continually getting worse now....hate politics). Though yeah that was the one thing we knew was AUS is way more expensive....and now I'd have to worry about region locked stuff for my 3DS if such an event happened =3. I'd hang out with any of my online friends if they lived a bit closer. I think the only one here on PXR (that I know of) that lives the closest to me is.....Noble? Either way it'd be awesome. I actually did meet one while in Florida once, but the only time we could find to meet up was while he was at his job xD

It's kind of hard to do actually. Care for others before yourself, but I like to be a little more helpful in that sense. Though when it comes to picking a place to eat I can be picky at times xD...still have that bad habit.

Yeah it sucks, but I guess they have priorities too. Sometimes they may just not want to explain it, though a quick short idea of why not would be good from time to time than a flat out "no." Like 3 days after I asked my friends if they wanted to I finally got a response back saying they couldn't because they had the flu all week and one of them had to actually go to the emergency room because it got so bad. So that's one of those understandable situations. Nah you couldn't be doing anything wrong (at least from the way your describing it). it sounds like they either forget, get too busy, or have new priorities as bad as that would be to say. There's no telling without really talking it out with them =/. Plan it out with them next time there's a gift exchange planned. Ask them if they want to exchange gifts or not. See if they have plans to get something. If not, don't get them anything. Even so personally in that kind of situation I'd still feel bad not getting a friend something. Even if it was a card or something it'd be good
