It'll happen to us all eventually though! Gives us time to think about the future and save up for such finances you know? xD Either way gaming and internet life other than work is about all.

Well I'm sure they actually have time to see you right? They may have found someone now, but that doesn't mean all of their free time should be dedicated to them! It's true though, at least we are all here for each other! PXR is a great community like that! it's also great to have thoughts for the future at least in thought while some are shown to be really effective (your artwork)!
Oh really? Near where I live, we've got a new estate being built (actually several) ALL around us. We're not far off the highway, so I get all the noise from the trucks, trains, planes and cars at night. ;( EVERYTHING. It's not really my fault that I don't go out. One, noone ever invites me anywhere anyway, and two, everything I love doing is an indoor activity. xD I moved away from the town I grew up in, so I don't see my friends there anymore, and I'm either too busy or tired to visit anyone else. True, true! I'd rather save and put myself in a stable financial situation tbh. I mean, I wouldn't want a significant other in my life until I can somehow support myself AND them.

Whenever I go out with friends anyway, they're always talking about kids or family or life goals, and like I can get into that. :/ Here I am talking about what I did at work last week and they're going on about being married or whatnot. I just can't connect with that. I feel like a social recluse, really, but there isn't much I can do about it. The online world is my oyster. :p

Maybe. But I asked my friend (he's called Mitch) at the VERY BEGINNING of February if he wanted to hang out, cause he moved to a new place and I haven't really seen in yet, and play Guitar Hero Live, and he comes back to me with "Oh, sorry, but I've pretty much got February booked out". .-. Uh, like what? That's a WHOLE month you can't see me because why? I mean I'm sure he's not busy EVERY day, and only if it's for a coffee catchup or something I'd be cool with that. I really don't like people that do that. I figure if someone wants to catch up, they're make time for it. I'm obviously not a priority anymore. ;n; and I haven't heard from him since. Thing is, I considered him a good friend, too. So I bought him both a birthday AND Christmas present last year while I received nothing. Don't get me wrong, I don't want some super-expensive awesome gift. I just wanted a card, and maybe a visit or something, but NOPE. I didn't even get that. That makes me sad, when you think you matter to a person and they don't even show it. Sorry, I ranted. n.n;; Thank you, Eric.

I know, I could hop on Match.com and look for girlfriends to date using that. My mom and dad used something similar to that (a non-website version, as this was before the internet) and my brother used it to find the girlfriend he's currently engaged to. And I've found fun and cool females, but they were already taken. One female Gamestop employee was really cool and fun to talk to, but she was already engaged to a guy that didn't really care for video games (>.<!)

I also think I would end up spoiling my girlfriend. I like watching and being there when people get excited and happy, and building memories to last a lifetime is something I enjoy doing, but my wallet and savings account seem to disagree. :P
I KNOW. Then my whole life would already be planned out. XD

Yeah, I mean I could go on ANY dating site, really, but that's not how I want to find someone. I'm not saying it doesn't work. Hell, I might do it EVENTUALLY if I exhaust every other option and grow old (lol), but I don't want to do it that way. I don't think finding someone should be a job, or a chore, it should just happen. Maybe not now, or tomorrow, or a year down the track, but it might some day.

I've had people online actually ask me "why are you not taken? You seem really cool!". And I told them it's probably because I don't get out much and I'm really shy to open up in person, so when I first meet someone they usually think I'm really boring. But the thing is, once I DO open up, I'm actually not shy at all. I'm totally crazy. 83 Haha. Of course I don't think most of my friends know that.

Ah yeah, my big thing is I REALLY love video games and anime/manga. I can't imagine going out with someone who ISN'T into these things. xD And that doesn't mean they're not nice people at all, it just means they're not right for me. Ya know? Don't worry, Neo, I'm the same. Although instead of dishing out money on expensive gifts, I throw my time into hand-made items, since I love doing all that arts and craft stuff. <3 Rather than being bought stuff, I prefer the little things. Don't worry about it Gem. Sometimes you gotta get rants out. Yeah, the work is mostly in the day, but it's something they've had plans to do since before I was even born (sometime in the 80s I believe). Now, I'm 25 and they just started sometime last year =3. Yeah I'm not a super outdoors kinda person myself. More of an indoor recluse Though some places have really good sights (mountains I've been on and beaches around here are nice...unless flooded with jellyfish and stingray). Even saving up goes so far though. Especially with bills and all. Being able to have enough financial stability to provide for a family is quite expensive today.

That sucks. If you do go out with them again then try changing it up a bit. Whenever I do hang out with my friends here (both are engaged and living with each other, yet they still find time to hang out with me occasionally). They don't sit there and talk about their own future or talk of having kids. The only time they do is when my other friend (the one in the Navy) brings it up and talks about how many girls he's been with. They've all got at least an experience while I sit back and just get to listen xD. Oh well I usually ignore it all when they do. Though tuning in a little helps learn a few things lol.

I can understand if a friend tells you they already "have plans," but when completely ignored later on it's kind of frustrating yeah. I mean it can be just as easy to forget, don't get me wrong. I mean who knows? Maybe business took them out of town or country? The only two friends in town I hang out with go out of town on a daily basis now and never respond to me right away xD. Yeah it's the little things that really count. It doesn't have to be anything super expensive, but it would've been nice if they had at least given something back in return. It's happened on a few occasions here, but not too often. Mostly they would explain why by saying they didn't have enough money at the time so they couldn't get anything. That's something I can understand and it's perfectly fine.

Again don't worry about the rant. It's easy to get a bit carried away when talking about stuff. So rant away if need be! It's a discussion thread for stuff like this.

I should really make a #rant blog. xD But that would just feel like I'm complaining. It would be totally cool if you lived closer though, I'd hang out with you all the time! :D Wow, that sure was a long time ago! O: Mine is more recent, but it's still annoying. My step-mum told me last week to save up for a holiday, and my first response was "but who would I go with?" xD I don't find holidays are very interesting when you can't share it with anybody. Sure is, I can barely afford to provide for myself with all the bills. Y UR GST SO HIGH, AUSTRALIA?

Yeah, that makes me feel as though they care more for themselves than my actual interests (which is probably the case anyway). Ahaha, that's like me when I listen to my friends and their experiences. xD I'm just like "uuuuuuuum yeah." *sits back and listens* Smile and nod lol.

Yeah, but if every, EVERY, time it's the same excuse "I'm busy"...that's just mean. 3: And no, he's not out of town or country last time I checked. xD Facebook lol. I find that more often than not, people just don't talk to me. And that makes me feel as though I'm not very interesting at all, or I'm doing something wrong. But that can't be, because I try my best to be nice. Is my niceness not enough? D: That makes me sad. If there was an explanation, yeah, that would be fine. If they didn't have money I would totally understand. But I got nothing. None of that, just a 'thanks' when receiving my gift and that was the end of that. I didn't feel right asking so I just dropped it.

Ah, no rant blogs are good. In fact this is probably the best place for it! I mean your surrounded by friends who support you here! I did it (not expecting much a response), but to my surprise I got a lot of feedback and support from it. Really helped me feel better to get it all out you know? I even got to know a lot of you all here a bit better from it. Yeah I've got friends now living all over the world (it's odd looking at that and seeing it...some spread out all over the US, some in the UK, some Canada, and now even a few in AUS and Japan). I've always heard AUS was higher priced. it's odd before I came here my family kinda talked about moving to AUS if things ever got too bad here (frankly I feel like it's continually getting worse now....hate politics). Though yeah that was the one thing we knew was AUS is way more expensive....and now I'd have to worry about region locked stuff for my 3DS if such an event happened =3. I'd hang out with any of my online friends if they lived a bit closer. I think the only one here on PXR (that I know of) that lives the closest to me is.....Noble? Either way it'd be awesome. I actually did meet one while in Florida once, but the only time we could find to meet up was while he was at his job xD

It's kind of hard to do actually. Care for others before yourself, but I like to be a little more helpful in that sense. Though when it comes to picking a place to eat I can be picky at times xD...still have that bad habit.

Yeah it sucks, but I guess they have priorities too. Sometimes they may just not want to explain it, though a quick short idea of why not would be good from time to time than a flat out "no." Like 3 days after I asked my friends if they wanted to I finally got a response back saying they couldn't because they had the flu all week and one of them had to actually go to the emergency room because it got so bad. So that's one of those understandable situations. Nah you couldn't be doing anything wrong (at least from the way your describing it). it sounds like they either forget, get too busy, or have new priorities as bad as that would be to say. There's no telling without really talking it out with them =/. Plan it out with them next time there's a gift exchange planned. Ask them if they want to exchange gifts or not. See if they have plans to get something. If not, don't get them anything. Even so personally in that kind of situation I'd still feel bad not getting a friend something. Even if it was a card or something it'd be good

I've always heard it was good, but I've never played it. My laptop chooses a fine time to break down. Lots of good sales going on =(

It is! It is awesomely good. Don't mind the terrible lip-syncing, though. xD

I'm going to buy Just Cause 1 and 2. I keep hearing great things about this series, so I figured I'd buckle down and give it a shot.

Lol I'm used to it. A lot of games are like that now anyway. Most notably I've played being the Naruto Storm games (when you use English audio). He lip syncing is off to the point the lips will move but nothing comes out xD

I'll get to it at some point though =D. And thanks Gem! Yeah I found out the laptop I purchased (I purchased it new), was used and refurbished. The warranty was literally under someone else's name and email. So...ugh tomorrow or Monday will be a pain calling back and just asking if when I send it in if I can just get a brand new one instead of a "refurbished" one. After all I did pay for a 'new' laptop in the first place.

Nothing like dropping $1600 on broken hardware...

I heard the same, but the latest one got bad reviews from what I heard. Not really worth the money as it is right now. 1&2 though I've heard and seen they seemed pretty good!
