Yeah, I should have been better about putting my cards into sleeves. I didn't realize the scratches on the holos would be so evident. Had I known earlier, I definitely would have done it.
Sleeves are so cheap anyway.

I always have a reserve of about 50 sleeves to make sure I have them if I need them!! I mainly use them for shipping my altered energy cards though. Speaking of, I have like 15 cards I need to do but can't because I have no time D: Exams are the worst.
Yeah, I have a ton of card sleeves now. I mainly use them for Magic the Gathering cards, since I kind of stopped playing the Pokemon TCG a while ago. MTG I still play a lot though. I have friends that play it and we often have some pretty intense matches.
I stopped playing it too, I just like hoarding the cards tbh :x
It must be really cool to be able to play with people! There's absolutely nothing in my area, I'd have to travel to London for anything (just over an hour away). I keep thinking I should join the gaming/anime societies at my university so I can meet more people with similar interests but I've still not got round to it
Yeah, I think that's the best place to find people with your similar interests.
Where I am, it's mostly older people who wouldn't even dream of getting into this kind of stuff. As a result, it's mostly banks, drug stores, and old age homes. The only con that was around town was kind of a low-key one that didn't have too much to it. It was last year and they didn't even bring it back this year.
My school has had a recent obsession with Magic. I never got into Magic; however, I played it once and enjoyed it.
@Neo Emolga My area is entirely old people as well D: All we have are banks and second-hand shops. We've got a few gross stereotypical English cafes as well. But to be honest, I live in a really small town (only around 6,000 people) so it's not that surprising.
@Bulbasaur I never got into it either!! To be honest I find most card games really boring because I have a really short attention span xD
@Papyrus I'm surprised mine has them to be honest, it's an on-campus uni but there is absolutely no community feeling at all. None of my friends feel very involved in uni life despite living on campus. My course only has about 50% of people turn up to classes because no one cares!!
My area has a few card shops and comic stores which do some small tournaments for YGO and PTCG. My town has never really been into Magic that much, though I barely play any TCG anymore so I might be wrong now.
My friends keep trying to pull me back in tho.
I mostly buy cards online now. You can shop competitively and get the lowest price plus it's WAY easier to buy singles and build the deck you want rather than rip open a dozen boosters only to barely get anything worthwhile. It's more cost effective also.
