As I am not a crumpet, I have no idea what this means!!! I don't think it looks good, though. It'll undoubtedly shake the country's economy and politics. It's also a blow to the EU itself. I think the EU represents nice liberal values and provides structure to Europe, and has since post-war. I think the biggest worry is that tied markets and such will be a huge mess and will really mess with not only the UK's economy, but markets all around the EU...I don't think I like the decision. But, at the same time, I don't think it'll affect me much.

I'm a bit surprised, but the people who wanted to leave were the ones who are more likely to vote. They really should have made it mandatory voting or required more of a majority to push it through. 52% seems tiny and that means there country is basically divided.

It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens. Stock markets around the world seem to be going a bit crazy and the pound and euro have fallen in value.
