Well Trump has won now and the Canadian immigration website has crashed LOL. I think Canada needs to build a wall to keep all the fleeing Americans out. XD

Good luck you guys... I don't know that much about the candidates either but after things I've read about Trump... Well, I can see why the rest of the world is freaking out. The share markets are apparently lower now than after 911!

Every election no matter who wins is still something to worry about. At least I do since I've been of voting age. Not knowing if a candidate will hold to their word. In fact, it's something the world needs to keep in mind and be wary of

TBH, ALL politicians including Trump have done enough to put them behind bars. Yes, that includes Obama as well. I've seen him try to hide enough from us and cover it up like it's nothing as well. Lol the wikileaks are as anything from wiki is to be taken. With a grain of salt. You can't believe everything you read online.

And no offense to this either, but people outside of America don't get everything we get either. Honestly I'm one of those that have never supported Obama because he has been so obviously against us. Some people see it the exact opposite. While I won't argue with them some things he's done has helped. Certain things (which I won't mention because topics of that matter do not belong here) have done nothing, but run this country further downhill and it's never been in a worse shape. The debt factor being a big one. A lot of people don't find it serious....but I look back and laugh when they say so. Obama himself campaigning for his first term. He ridiculed Bush for even having the National debt at, what? 3 trillion? He said it was "unamerican", but look at the National debt now. Near 20 trillion.

See why I hate politics ._. ......nothing, but hatred, lies for political gain, corruption, corruption, and more corruption.....we all really need to get this country back on track....
Honestly I don't see how one person could stop a declining economy... Like, the whole world is in worse shape than it's ever been, pretty much, and there's not a single person (omg my fingers just typed 'pokemon' instinctively...well, that too) who is to blame. Rather, it was inevitable. I mean, we're a horrible race who are single-handedly destroying the entire world so go us. xD

Pretty much yeah xD. For Obama to blame one person (Bush), and the same to be said right back at Obama. It really shows there's a lot of fingerpointing both ways. lol I've done that before too. Typing Pokemon or Pikachu without thinking lol. Either way it's something that will probably never be fixed sadly. Banning together as human beings to better not only each other, but the world. There's a LOT of work to fix this planet, but no one seems too interested in that, that could benefit anyone. It's quite sad actually

It is. The saddest thing to me is that humans only focus on humans. Never animals. In many regards. It really infuriates me because every element of planet degradation is caused by human actions. We should at least owe it to the animals to care about them, but instead we overbreed them, murder them, destroy their habitats, and treat them like dirt. Of course there are exceptions, but nearly every human is obsessed with human health, and not other animals.

Well Trump won. Congrats America, now we get to go back to the 1920's and go BACKWARDS, not forwards. Way to go voters!

Can't wait to see this end miserably so everyone who voted for him will regret it.

I'll be honest with myself really. When has our country truly been on our feet for the last 2 decades? So many talk about Clinton this, Bush that, Obama this, Trump that, that nobody actually considers how the more we advertise and bash one another the further in debt we go and the worse our country ends up. Politics won't stop police shootings. Politics tried to stop racism and it's still running around (though nowadays more passive aggressively). Politics tries to fix economics and in the process our debt just gets higher, our rich get richer, and our poor get poorer. Far as I'm concerned, no matter who happens to be sitting in the oval office, there'll always be controversy and our country just gets dragged closer and closer to hell.

And that's the sad truth. Racism didn't spark because of a certain candidate. It's always been there. Just as with police shootings. It happens and those won't stop because of a choice or some politician. There's too much for just ONE person to fix it all. it'll take a country UNITED to work together and fix problems.

Best way to stop and forever kill racism?

Get people to stop talking about it. Stop distinguishing between races. Put an end to giving people labels and designations. That in turn will put an end to making one race feel more or less privileged than another. If people want to be treated as one, they have to identify and associate as one. What race are you? Human. Case closed.

It wouldn't be easy and it does mean giving up a lot of things. It would mean giving up things like a Hispanic Heritage Club or Black History Month. The whole collective label organization like "Black," "Hispanic," "Asian," and so on would have to be gone. But as long as these labels and distinguishing organizations/traits exist, so will the opinions and reactions of those included or excluded from these groups. The less we emphasize these things, the more we associate togetherness and the more we identify as one.

But you're right, it's impossible for just one person to fix it. It takes everyone. It takes the whole world.
