I would love to have a bird one day! One that you could teach stuff to! Birds are so cute and smart. :D I taught a magpie to come to the back door of my house and eat out of my hand last year. But my (giant, silly) dog was scared of her so I had to stop doing it or he would get nervous being outside. :( It was sad seeing her out there and having to ignore her. Eventually she stopped visiting. :(

    Meh, that's sad. :(

One of the smartest birds you can get is an African Grey parrot. So if you want to teach a bird to talk and do all kinds of fun tricks and stuff, that's one to go for. But if that's too big, most other birds can do tricks and goofy things as well as long as you train them.

Indy, a lovebird I had, did all kinds of goofy tricks and I didn't even need to teach him any of them. XD

I don't think I could ever have a bird after watching the birds for class.

One of my old high school teachers was afraid of birds. Whenever we didn't want to do work we'd mention birds and she'd rant about her hatred for them.

I'll admit, the movie Arachnophobia actually did make me afraid of spiders for a while. Especially that one part where the killer spider is hiding behind the toilet and that one guy nearly gets his butt bitten. For a while, I kept checking behind toilets to make sure nothing was hiding there. Last thing I'd want is to die on the toilet. Or get bitten on the butt.

I did see The Birds, but eh, that didn't really get to me that much. I've seen much worse.

Ohhhh yeah, that might do it. :x

This may seem silly, but watch it again now that you're more grown up. I find a lot of the past movies that used to have moments that bothered and disturbed me as a kid are nothing to me now. In fact, you might even brush aside those past fears as being silly, which is actually quite an alleviating feeling.

This is so true xD. As a kid, I used to hate shows like that and, get this, Back to the Future. Now? I LOVE Back to the Future. One of my all time favorite movie series ever! That and those shows I found odd as a kid are way more interesting. I guess as kids our kids are more prone to wanting entertainment, when as adults, our minds seek out a sort of "learning" thing rather than just entertainment. Something like that at least *insert psychological analysis here*
