Haha true, we could have! I heard that it didn't even work very well for US people in the first place though xD

I'd still like to buy it one day just to have a complete collection. There was a point where I owned every Pokemon game besides that and Green version. But then they started making too many spinoff games to keep up with xD I'm way behind now!

There are lots of different accents in the US, too, right ? So that wouldn't be surprising! xD I bet even Japanese had trouble. Voice recognition probably wasn't very good back then. It was cool that they were trying something different though.

Yeah, also that our N64s aren't the right region so it wouldn't have played anyway like Sarah said. xD

Funny/annoying you guys had trouble too. Then again, it is pretty old technology. Siri still can't understand me half the time.

yeah, I mean sometimes I can't understand someone from Boston, or certain parts of NYC. We don't even call zesty caffeinated drinks the same, a lot of places call it soda, but here in Michigan it's usually called pop.

SODA POP! I only know that from Pokemon games. xD Here we just call it lemonade (even if it's not lemon flavoured xD) or soft drink haha. I was always confused as to whether Soda Pop and Lemonade were actually different things like they are in the games!

Yeah, I call soda (or soda pop) "soft drink". I said that once to an American friend and he was so confused. XD It was great.

LOL SAME. *POP!* xD Wait, you call it lemonade if it's not lemon flavoured? O_o I don't. xD Only lemonade is lemonade...lel. But yeah, true. To me "soda" is lemon flavoured unless otherwise specified so maybe one's stronger? XD

As a kid I only referred to it as "fizzy." "Hey, Mum, can we get some fizzy?" XD Now it's soft drink to me though. Lol I love when people get confused. >:J
