Rapport with #12 Yandil the Smeargle has been permanently reduced by 1.

After finding and dragging Yandil back to the Emissary base, you force the Smeargle to have to answer to your questions.

"What is it that you people want!?" Yandil exclaims, squirming as he's tied down to the chair.

You look him over, but you don't see any signs of blood or entrails. At least not from an initial glance. He does seem to be very impatient and despite the fact you're the one in control of the situation, he just takes on the attitude that he wants this to be done as soon as possible.

You mention Overkill to him, and it sounds like it's not the first time he's been accused of that.

"Overkill?" Yandil asks, looking at you. "What makes you think I'm whoever that is? Listen, I really don't have the time for this right now. I've got a ton of things to do and every second I waste here is another second something I need to get done isn't getting done. Can't you see the problem with this?"

You tell him you sincerely don't care about it. From what you've heard from other Pokémon, most of his work tasks are self-inflicted and his degenerative type A personality is his own doing, not from someone else's. Meanwhile, a vast amount of the Southwarren Pokémon believe he is a Stalker and you've seen plenty of the messages and have heard plenty of claims.

"Answer me," you order him, "what do you know about the Stalkers?"

"Not very much," Yandil looks away, thinking to himself. "They're some killers tormenting Southwarren. And I've noticed lots of Pokémon coworkers missing at work. That's about all I know. Hey, work doesn't stop just because of something like this!"

"So what about Jeddi?" you ask Yandil. "Why are the two of you such fierce adversaries?"

"Are you kidding!?" Yandil shouts. "You try working with her. I've filed for a relocation request at least six times to get away from her. She's annoying, distracting, and she's stupid. And plenty of people hate her too, only with her, it makes more sense because the reasons are obvious."

You decide to pry in deeper to see if you can get to the heart of this.

"So what do you say to the accusations!?" you demand. "Everyone in town is fingering you!"

"Fine!" Yandil exclaims, stamping his feet and looking really fed up and angry. "I'm Overkill, are you happy now!? Does confessing to it make this go away or are you still going to barrage me with questions like this!? I swear, whatever you do with Stalkers can't be half as bad as dealing with this right now. Do whatever you want but I swear, don't tell Jeddi about this because I really don't want to hear her gloating and snorting. She'll never let me hear the end of it!"

"So you're really admitting to it?" you ask Yandil.

"Well, I already know what happens if I say no," Yandil tells you bitterly. "So right, the answer is yes. You done? Can I finally go home now?"

It seems there's really nothing else to go by. You decide to let him go for now, though you definitely have the feeling there was something really odd going on back there...
