You arrive before the Mizure Apartment building on the western side of town. Despite Mizure's murder, you find the tenants are still living there and it seems any rent payments are indefinitely on hold, at least until things with the Stalkers settle down. Right now, you figure if Mizure's next of kin was contacted regarding transfer of the property ownership, they probably don't want to head into Southwarren quite yet regardless of the property and real estate value.
You search around the exterior of the building and it seems like the dark gray brick building is in pretty good shape. You can tell Mizure did a pretty good job of making sure the building was well-maintained before she was killed. The grounds are relatively clean and free of unintended vegetation while you don't find any trash or debris. After doing a full search around the exterior, you feel if there was anything that was left behind out there, it was probably cleaned up and thrown away.
You head inside where the lobby of the apartment building is actually pretty nice and has a seating area for Pokémon to meet and gather. There's also potted plants and some vending machines by the back door. You check around this area and you notice a green feather is stuck between the door and the wall. You figure some Pokémon probably used this door and had one of their feathers caught and plucked in the door as it closed and didn't think to take it with them.
You're not sure if that Pokémon could be a Stalker or not, but you decide it's best to check anyway. If Tashy gets a positive confirmation, it's already a big step toward tracking down another Stalker.
Pokémon Sample [Green Feather] was added to the Team Inventory.
You then decide to search the apartments themselves. From what you discover, Gorlin the Swalot, Teccin the Poliwhirl, Jessy the Lycanroc, Kanna the Purugly, Shin the Chimecho, and Misa the Meinshao all live here in this three-story apartment building. Right now, the only ones at home are Jessy and Shin, mainly because everyone else is working and while Jessy is sleeping, you know she works the night shift at the gas station. Nothing really seems suspicious about her apartment while you search it. While she's into firecrackers, fireworks, heavy metal, and likes to brew her own beer on the side, you don't really find anything suspicious. You look through Shin's apartment and she seems glum and depressed. You notice there really isn't too much for decor in her apartment. Only two pictures of forest and nature settings are on the walls and her furniture is very plain and only intended to be functional. It seems like she used to enjoy singing as a hobby, but her microphone and music CDs appear to be just collecting dust now. You find a notice in Shin's mail about Jayberry School remaining closed indefinitely, and from what you learn, Shin is actually a reading teacher there. It makes you wonder if that might be one of the things she's depressed about, but it seems like this has been going on longer than when she got this notice.
When you search Misa's apartment, you quickly learn she loves video games and doesn't really like to get out too much. She also likes to read all kinds of science-fiction stories and horror novels. You find a novel on her nightstand that has the title of "Kiss of Shadows." Down the hall, you find Kanna's apartment. As you're not surprised, Kanna loves jewelry. Heaps of it. She also doesn't have much in her fridge and pantry, which leads you to the conclusion that she probably eats out a lot. You also find a lot of fashion magazines and tabloids on her coffee table besides the remote control to a rather large television she has all to herself. You find she has piles and piles of neglected things and among this pile, you find a red candle that has just been collecting dust for years. You figure Kanna wouldn't even care if it's gone while you feel it might be way more useful to use in Tashy's Sin Purge Ritual. You decide to take it with you and put it to better use.
Item [Red Candle] was added to the Team Inventory.
You head upstairs and then find Teccin's apartment. Upon searching it, Teccin doesn't really take good care of his furniture and there are a lot of papers scattered all over the place. He also doesn't seem like a very friendly Pokémon either. His review of an engineering memo from another colleague is filled with nasty redline markup and condescending commentary.
Lastly, Gorlin's apartment seems a bit more on the simple side and feels a bit more comfortable. You notice Gorlin has a thing for tea and has a lot of albums for meditation. In another pile, he has albums for classical music. His furniture isn't too gaudy, but everything is simple, function, but still looks nice and is kept orderly.
After having checked everything, you decide to head back with your findings and the things you've found.
