You get to Overland Metalworks, where the building is pretty old but has been nicely adapted to suit just about all the needs Overland has for dealing with metal work. Here you find a large part of the factory floor is dedicated toward mass production of sheet metal and metallic alloys for whoever their customers are.
At this hour, there isn't much activity at all. You find a large number of the machines have been turned off, but you figure most of them will be fully operational in the morning. A great many of them seem pretty complicated and complex and you're not even sure what most of them do. From what you can tell, the first three floors are dedicated to mass production processes and raw material manufacturing. It also seems to be organized according to department and types of goods produced.
On the fourth floor, you find this is where Overland is doing machine testing and prototype building. Most of the devices here are a lot more experimental and conceptual in nature, but they haven't undergone enough testing and verification to put into action. From what you can tell, it seems like the company is trying to delve into other industries, but still focus on metal-related market niches.
It's here where you find a large, metallic machine created specifically to reconstruct jewelry regardless of how much damage it has undergone. Judging from the test results, it has been quite successful and has been validated to repair just about anything from bracelets, necklaces, lockets, rings, and other similar items. It seems it just hasn't been prepared for mass production, but you figure it isn't far off from getting to that point.
You decide to take note of it, as it seems this may be something you might need to come back to in the near future.
Objective {Metallic Jewelry Repair Machine: Jewelry Repair Tray} has been noted in the Team Records.
You then head to the fifth floor, where it seems like machines and prototypes that haven't passed their preliminary tests are taken here for reevaluation. Right now, it doesn't seem like a whole lot of work is being here and with the staff being limited, it may be a while before reassessment work here continues. You do, however, find a clump of blue fur that looks like it was yanked out when someone got it caught in a closing door. You decide to taking the sample, wondering if Tashy might be able to figure out if it belongs to a Stalker.
Pokémon Sample [Blue Fur] has been added to the Team Inventory.
You search out the rest of the floor, but it doesn't seem like there's too much else to find up here. You then decide to head back and report what you found to the others.
