If anything, he had set them free! That made the Lucario feel a bit better, and he spent the night playing with his new friend. There were worse crosses to bear. This one was at least cute.

Resting with my lil' friend here!
(OOC: Yes, I'm taking the forever friend shtick and running with it. It touched me too deeply to let go.)
You decide to rest tonight with the others as they all prepare to refresh themselves in the wake of some of the other horrors that they have witnessed in their own ways.

The best is comfortable tonight, and you find it easier to sleep than to try and keep fighting off the twitching and the constant watching of shadows that you have been impulsively doing. Meanwhile, it seems like the spirit of the Eevee has taken a liking to you, and while it disturbed you at first and made you twitchy, you're slowly getting used to it and it doesn't quite seem as bad as you originally thought.

Rusty O'Toole has recovered 1 Point of Sanity.

You feel a little better when you wake up, but there are still those voices in your head and you're sure not all of them are from your Eevee spirit companion. Meanwhile, there are sometimes shadows on the wall that move in strange ways and slight tingling feelings on your fur despite nothing being there. You wonder if it might be a good idea to use some more time to recover fully.
