Now that Halloween is over, iiitttt’sss Christmastime! Happy Holidays, ho-ho-ho, and-… wait, what’s this “Thanksgiving” thing you’re talking about? Sorry, I didn’t get the memo.
Anyway, we’ve got more art out there, waiting for mischievous torment, silly nerdy references, and nonsense like that, so let’s get to it already!

Cuphead the Pokemon by thegreatrogue

I know two things about Cuphead. ONE, it’s a recently-released indie game that has become INSANELY popular for reasons I have no clue about, and TWO, it has characters that are kind of like those classic Mickey Mouse cartoons and whatnot. Ladies and gentlemen, that’s the extent of my knowledge of Cuphead. I’m still shooting Psychos in Borderlands 2 (it was cheap on Steam when I got it) and gunning down aliens in XCOM2, so I’m just not following this ceramic-headed protagonist.
This part in the description is really cute. “Anyone who foolishly tries to takes a sip from it’s straw gets a nasty surprise as CUPHEAD uses its straw to steals their victim’s soul.” Man, is it just me or this there a LOT of soul-stealing going on in Pokémon these days? I’ve played HORROR games with less of that going around. Geez, you guys, go make your own souls and stop trying to steal everyone else’s.

Bendy The Pokemon by thegreatrouge

I THINK this is another Cuphead reference. Like… 93.56% sure. It’s a great blend of cute and creepy at the same time. Such a happy smile but lordy, those eyes tell me it can’t possibly for reasons that would make anyone else smile. That’s like murder right there. The kind that you see when Chucky and Pennywise smile like that.
And I’m always amused by Rayman-like characters that don’t have connected appendages. How would this dude wear a necktie? Would this dude have French Revolution immunity if they brought him up to the guillotine? When he eats burgers and fries, do they just magically end up from his throat to his stomach or do you see the partially-digested food traveling there? Asking the real questions here!

Pokemon Sprite Sale by Aenea-Jones

Oh my goodness, when I was a kid, I used to love goofing around with perler beads. The BEST part was knocking the big container of them over and having to pick up 1000+ of these little things as they got everywhere and became a part of the carpet forever.
There’s an endless amount of nonsense you can make with them and Pokémon are no exception! You can either go a little crazy placing each tiny bead for each tiny pixel and then iron that sucker if you still have patience and sanity left, or you can pay fine chaps like this to do it for you. Choices!

Oswald The Lucky Pokemon by thegreatrouge

I confess, my knowledge of Cuphead has not increased since reviewing the last piece of art. Sorry to say, but reminiscing about perler beads has its limitations.
Oswald, whoever this is, is cute, but I’m not sure if he’s supposed to be a bunny, or a mouse, or some entirely new kind of alien creature that looks like some cheeky bozo thought it would be funny to give him a flashlight and a headlamp for Christmas and this perpetual scowl was his reaction. I could be wrong though! He might be Jewish and someone had the bright idea of strapping him to a Hanukkah menorah so they only needed to get the remaining seven light bulbs. Yeah… I think I’d be scowling too in that case.

Spooky Pokemon by Celebi-Yoshi

YEAH, MORE LYCANROC! There are three certainties in life. Death, taxes, and either Mimikyu and/or Lycanroc in popular Pokémon fan art. You gotta love the art style. Reminds me so much of Yoshi’s Island/Story/Wooly World/Anarchy/Whatever ridiculous content they put Yoshi’s world into next. So in case you just needed that one last injection of sweet, sweet, Halloween as you finish off your last Kit-Kat bar, you can use this! Also, everything is 50% off by the way. Time to get that costume you think you’re going to use next year before you forget/lose interest by the time Halloween 2018 comes around!

The second one is actually a Bendy and the Ink Machine reference. Both of these games stretch back to old classic style cartoon art so both one from the same tree branch. Both look really fun too. Bendy moreso for the story and Cupheads.

Still some really interesting and great artwork goes into these. Fun sometimes to just browse and gaze upon all the new and amazing artwork out there.

Hate to burst your bubble Neo but that second one is from an indie horror game called Bendy and the Ink Machine. It's style is largely reminciscent of old cartoons, which Cuphead also takes style choices from so I can see why you'd be confused, but they are different games!

Ahh, they looked like they were from the same game (what also threw me off was all three of those were made by thegreatrouge)! ~~Shows you how little I know about these. XD~~

See, I'm better at reviewing Pokemon when it's... well, Pokemon. XD
