When I first saw the "surfing between islands." I thought the same thing xD. I just hope it's true.

According to the leaks, if you achieve a certain high score in Mantine surfing you can get a surfing pikachu!

I bet that alone just sold it for Chakra. XD

I can only hope it's true. I was gonna get it because of the Pikachu stuff in it already. If I can get the event one it'll only add TOO the awesomeness! :D

Supposedly fly pikachu can also be obtained. To quote an article,

"Surfing Pikachu can be earned by getting the high score at all four Surf Spots. Once players obtain Surfing Pikachu, the owner/manager of the Surf Spots challenges players to beat their first high scores with the Flying Pikachu as a prize."

I'm probably the only person who actually enjoys breeding competitive pokemon. :P At least half my play time on each game since White has been hatching the perfect stat/move/nature pokemon, and then proceeding to never use them. :P
With SuMo I managed to convert my sister too, now she's got a 5 mon IV bred team for the battle tree. If only multi battles worked better on the old 3ds...

I like doing that too! I did it a LOT on XY and it was pretty easy once I found a Ditto Safari and got a bunch of great IV/nature Ditto! Never found the motivation to start doing it in SM though. I just didn't enjoy the game as much, I guess. I also didn't wanna transfer my competitive guys from ORAS to SM as you can't transfer back and the Battle Maison is way more fun. :/

I feel like it's to much work. I mean I still have two more Pokemon to try and finish for Ultra Moon. I usually just use whatever I get along the way.

All my guys are on my Moon cartridge right now. I enjoyed battling them competitively quite a bit. I didn't even breed for stats. I enjoyed using the mons without perfect stats and using them in competitions. I did that a lot during the ORAS era. But to be fair it was much easier to grind back then as well.

I didn't end up seeing it so I gotta wait for the DVD now. Glad to hear it was good :)
