Hmm, it's quite odd. It does have some moments that feel like it's more set for kids, but as long as you aren't playing on easy mode it's not always so straightforward. There's a lot of back and forth just to find new evidence. Such as finding one new fact that leads to someone else knowing about this and going back to them so you know about it, only to have to run back and do this or that there too.
It takes time to get to the good parts, but it's pretty fun so far. Though it may be a little biased talk just because I love some good mysteries and such. Calling out the culprits make it all that much more fun. I don't know how many chapters are in it yet. So I can't say if it's totally worth it in length yet. I'd say it's pretty fun and a totally different take on the series though. So it's totally worth giving a shot!

I'm watching a playthrough of it since I can't afford another game right now.
Didn't have a chance to play it today, but I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow after work or Thursday.

What is this strange “time” thing?

Getting things... "done"? You mean the to do list is not just an ever expanding list of tasks that grows no matter how many you think you've finished?
