Oh that reminds me I need to show y'all what my suitemates and roommate got me for Christmas! Since I'm technically done with school we celebrated Christmas last night while it was snowing. I think you guys will like what I got.

Yeah it's pretty cool. Last year I just got some candy and fuzzy socks. Which I'm not knocking the fuzzy socks but this is so much cooler.

I thought you said you didn't have any college friends last year? Unless I'm remembering wrong.

I had a very small circle of college friends and then as soon as college was over, poof. I have no idea what they're doing now. The same thing happened in grad school and I TRIED to keep in close contact with these people and yeah, just didn't happen.

I had a few but we weren't like particularly close so we didn't exchange gifts. The gifts I mentioned above were gifts from my roommate and suitemates last year. Since I lived with them and such it was kinda obligatory to exchange gifts between the four of us.

I guess. Not like we ever hung out or talked all that much. Having friends in college isn't that important anyway. Least not to me.

Yeah, I'd have to say that there's something about college friends that feels very, very temporary. The friends you make as coworkers definitely seem to have a lot more longevity, but maybe that's just because of the situations I've been in.
