I've got Emolga already, that's in the works (the older knock-off one I have is kind of getting a bit shabby and the size was never right in the first place), but a few others would be cool. Some of the ideas I have are:

  • Alolan Raichu. I'd ask for the tail to be really big and have it so it can be attached and detached from the back via a button or something like that so it's possible to look like I'm riding on it surfboard style while it's detached, but attach it so I can walk around without it dragging about.
  • Flygon. I saw a version of it on Etsy (the second and third pictures have the actual kigu and not just the sketch) and it looked pretty sweet! I didn't really think of Flygon being made into a kigu but it looks great!
  • Pachirisu. Big squirrel tail or bust! As in "big bean bag sofa wherever I go" kind of size. XD
  • Lopunny. Made to look more like this dude, which has a kind of more masculine look to it. But you gotta love those hysterically huge ears! XD

Decisions decisions. Dang it, Xanthe, you introduced me to these things and WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE SO COOL, FUN, AND COZY!?
Okay, so I finally decided and started some funny Kigurumi race with some unsuspecting people. Basically the rundown is this:

Orders made on November 15th, 2017

Emolga - Yotsubanclover (Etsy, 35 day head start)

Orders made on December 20th, 2017

Mega Charizard X - Draxaca (DeviantArt)
Alolan Raichu - AnarchyAngels (Etsy)
Umbreon - UmiRumi (Etsy)

I'm really curious as to see who can get done with what first. I haven't heard anything from Yotsubanclover regarding the Emolga one, so I'm not even sure if she started yet (totally understandable given this is a busy time of year). I have a feeling UmiRumi for the Umbreon will probably get done first as Umbreon isn't too tricky and complicated of a Pokemon to work with. Everyone else has kind of a bit more of a challenge.

But yeah, my current knock-off versions of Emolga and Umbreon are beginning to fall apart. The Emolga one was a bit too small to begin with (despite ordering the largest size available) and the Umbreon one that I got off Amazon is falling apart with the yellow rings peeling off. Overall, they just feel cheaply made, which is cheesy and not cool. The other thing with the current Umbreon one I have is the ears and tail don't look right. They're smaller than they should be and the tips are rounded, so it looks a little weird.

Overall, I think these will be four very fun and enjoyable Kigurumis provided everything goes in just fine.
