I still have a clock that also works as a player extension for a iPod/phone. The iPod I used it with stopped working ages ago, but the clock is still pretty decent by itself and I use it as my first alarm clock to wake up for work. And that one is all the way on my desk far away from my bed, so I HAVE to get up to turn it off.

I actually have two alarms just in case one of them fails. The first is that iPod clock, and the second is my phone.
