You got to go to a tournament? What was it like? How well did you do? I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere so I've never got anywhere near one before.
If you're just trying to get a regular Litten, I usually just breed my starter in the games and put it on the GTS for the other starters and get one pretty quick. The GTS is pretty good if you make a reasonable request because most people are completely unreasonable so your offer will stand out in a good way. XD Not sure how active the GTS is now though, this was shortly after the games came out.
