Huh, I've been using Adobe cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and acrobat are the main ones I use) for my college work from a subscription and I haven't had that problem. I really can't think of any reason for the problem beyond something went weird with the downloading. If the problem started after you saved it, it may be something to do with the photoshop connecting to the cloud, but that usually only happens if you specify that you want it to do that...

So nope, sorry. No idea. Definitely the wrong person to ask, since beyond using it I have no knowledge of photoshop software. I'd definitely report it to adobe though since it sounds like kind of a big issue.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice. Both times after I tried adding an image (and it failing doing nothing when I tried copy pasting an image to it) it gave me an error message when I tried opening a new tab to work on the transparent image (which wouldn't even add). I never even had the chance to save anything due to the spacing issue. Makes literally ZERO sense why it would take up nearly 50gbs of space with a blank project or temporary FILE.

Anyone have tips on what I would need for a desktop computer? Like one that'd be used for gaming and general usage? I know with ones with that liquid nitrogen coolant you need to change it every so often. So if I did that I'd have to learn how...and knowing my luck with computers that might be a problem xD

Speaking of, I had more issues recently. Does anyone know or use the subscription based Adobe Photoshop? I just recently tried it out and this Adobe Cloud thing, the app, the PS itself is.....odd. It AUTO downloads to the primary driver. Giving me no choice on which driver I want it installed on. So it installs on my primary driver (which is a SSD card) and it's pretty small. I've got only about 50gb left on it. It worked fine...until I tried working on a project and then suddenly. Nothing works because suddenly I've got 48gb worth of "temporary file data" on Photoshop. Which makes absolutely NO sense to me.

Like, right now I'm at 55.8/116gb of data. If I opened Photoshop, made a new doc, suddenly when I tried adding something (that wouldn't go on the template to even edit) it would tell me there's not enough space on the disc. I opened the computer files and it showed that there was only about 4-5gbs of data left. I had to trace what had the most used space. Which led me to users, photoshop, and then "temporary photoshop" data. It showed that one SINGLE "temorary" file was 48gbs of data. It had NOTHING on it even. I had never even made or used anything on PS other than opening a new project to try and start. Any explanations? I already canceled my plan and got a refund cause I did NOT wanna deal with it, but ever since it's like my computer has seemed kinda screwy.

I know I downloaded from the right place (with Adobe) so unless Adobe is handing out viruses now at the cost of $20 a month, it couldn't be that.

So basically, you're looking to get a new computer for gaming?

That's really weird about the Adobe stuff. If you bought it then you are entitled to support from them so I would try and give them a call or see if they have one of those live chat things online.

I'm drawing pretty close to the stage where I need a new computer, also. My GPUs are bloody old and will choke when trying to handle most newer games that aren't the indie types.

I have a gaming laptop, it seems pretty good to me. I got a Horize (now known as Metabox) which is partially customisable so I can upgrade parts if I want. I admit I haven't tried to play the latest AAA games or anything but I've never had trouble running anything. I'd definitely recommend them for gaming laptops!

Haha. The end of the year is really full of sales. They should space them out a bit more. We don't have Thanksgiving here obviously but stores have started doing Black Friday sales for some reason. xD

Yeah, it's crazy. Funny thing is I've pretty much bought all the games that even just slightly grabbed my interest. I was mulling over Armello for the longest time and it's a REALLY good game and I'm glad I went ahead and got it during the autumn Steam sale. The gripes about it were so over-exaggerated and that nearly caused me to miss out on enjoyable and creative board game style pleasure.

I'm sure something is going to pop up and I'll end up busting out the Visa again... XD
