Yeah, fall damage is one of those things that usually gets you when it comes to new games. Some games have it, others don't, and you can never really be too sure. XD

It's fun, but it took me a tiny bit to get used to the controls. I kept bringing up the Nintendo Switch home menu rather than the inventory. Just have to get used to not doing that. XD

To be fair I didn't even realise the cliff was there. My friend was watching me and was like "did you not just see that giant cliff in front of you in the cut scene?" XD

I don't play many games so I'm pretty amusingly bad at them. I admit I felt kinda overwhelmed at the start with all the controls and the cooking and everything. I got the hang of it pretty quickly and the controls are pretty great once you get used to them. So much better than that horrible camera in OoT anyway. XD

I'm holding out for either a price drop or special Pokemon or Fire Emblem Switch bundle. I made the mistake of buying the WiiU because they were making a new Zelda game for it, back in 2014...

The Switch right now is far too expensive! I'm saving up to get it and a few games for my son if he does well in his exams, but it's then that you realise its ludicrous prices. $60 for one game? Absurd. I've also heard that they plan on making their online service paid at some point (March?), so they're drawing even more money from our pockets. It's outrageous, and I wouldn't pay it normally, but I made my son a promise when I assumed the prices were lower.

The Switch is pretty expensive, yeah. :/ If they're gonna make it their new handheld as well since 3DS is done for, they should try and drop the price so it's more affordable for people who want to play the handheld-ish games. :(

And yeah, it is quite pricey. I think it's worth it because Nintendo makes such great games that you're not going to be able to get otherwise.

I zoomed way out on my screen to help me do the Valentine's scavenger hunt and I'm kind of digging the tiny fonts. It reminds me of like 10 years ago where the trends was to have 8px fonts on everything. And even those tiny pixel fonts. It is quite cute. XD
