I woke up at 5:30 AM to the bitter cold, turned on my laptop, and realized nothing was connecting. I went downstairs to fix the Wi-Fi, but that's when I realized the snowstorm had put out the power in the entire area. Couldn't make tea because no access to boiling water, so I went to my room and cocooned myself in the bed sheets. My phone was at 15% and dying, but thankfully I could use my laptop to charge it. Eight hours passed and still no power, and the temperature in the house was dropping more and more. Fell asleep for a couple hours and woke up to find the power was back on, but it was still freezing. No one in the house has dared to go outside today, so nothing is shoveled. I also had an important meeting at my college tomorrow, but it's closed due to the weather and I haven't gotten a reply to my email yet.
