How are you with money?

Are you the type that can save for days on end or do you spend it as soon as you get it?

I spend most of my money on food and lately Candy Crush...lol. I feel like I've done better with saving my money and wait for when I really want something.

I'm frugal as heck. I'm trying to save money for some major life purchases like a house down payment, so I try to mostly only buy the essentials.

Step 1. Look at the price of the desired item.
Step 2. Look in my (metaphorical) pockets to see how much I have.
Step 3. Is the number from Step 2 greater than the number from Step 1?
Step 4A. If yes, shut up and take my money.
Step 4B. If no, I don't want to live anymore.

I'm trying to save for a Switch so I can play more awesome games. I've always been the one in my group of friends that didn't have the awesome stuff like everyone else because I wasn't making as much money as everyone else.

I don't spend money very often, but when I do, I can spend a lot of money at once. xD

I use to be a very impulsive buyer; when I first got hold of my savings account, I'd do things like spend over £100 on fancy dress costumes, and there were many, many £40+ rounds of drinks. Needless to say, the savings didn't last very long...

These days though, I'm much more frugal and controlled. This is helped in no small part by my partner of 6.5 years, who is incredible with her self-displicine and saving. If I, her, or we spend money, it tends to be very thought out, and quite often these days improvements for our house, which should hopefully add value, if not just make our lives a little nicer and/or easier.

I'm a money hoarder. I never really buy things for myself aside from the essentials. I do the same thing in games with money/items. XD

As I've said in previous threads, I love comic books and keep convincing myself to by more titles. This wasn't bad back early on, when I was only reading Flash, Batman, and Superman, but now I'm up to twenty whole titles, and I;m constantly having to keep updated when their new volumes release. Beyond that, I'm actually okay, only buying the odd treat every other day.

I tend to put most of my money in my stomach. Aside from that I'm generally not buying a whole lot else.

I'm good at saving money. I do spend a lot of money on pokemon stuff sometimes, but I use the extra money I get from making and selling plushies for that. XD
