    Recycling

Do you find yourself recycling? Or are you a culprit of always using the trash can. Do you do a lot to keep the Earth "green"?

I recycle quite a bit. Cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, plastic bags, and all that stuff. There's really no reason why not to do it.

I don't like to throw things in the trash that can be tossed into a recycle bin instead. I do genuinely care a lot about keeping the world a bit greener, but... recycling at every opportunity and sometimes picking up litter outdoors have been my only real contributions thus far, so I wouldn't say that I personally do a lot.

We always have a recycling bin somewhere, so I'll use 'em if they're available.

I always try and recycle. It can be confusing sometimes though as some plastics aren't recyclable. :/ I like it when things are labelled saying whether you can recycle them.

I make a point to recycle plastic and glass bottles and usually store them until I have a bag full or so. Part of it is that I know there are people who need the money who come around sometimes and search the recycle bins..so it gets recycled either way, either the city does it or people take it and exchange it themselves for cash, but there's more of a reason to keep it in my mind. I'm a lot less prudent when it comes to wrappings and paper things and a lot just goes in the trash. If I had a house out in the country I would compost a lot, but not a good option right now.

I wish my state would do one of those exchanges where you can return bottles and things for a coins. I think it's a great idea.
