They usually do because sweet little girls guilt trip them into buying some. :P

Really, saying no to them does make you feel a bit of a jerk, especially if other people around you are buying them, also. I've had that happen at the office where a coworker's kid was using his parents to get people to buy chocolate bars at work. I bought some the first time, but when that happened again and again, I started saying no thanks.
