I've had many crappy professors and most of the crap they taught was never applied. But the ones that were good and pointed me in the right direction, those are the ones that I get inspired from and apply what they taught me.
Nah they do. Though there was that one time my mom canceled Christmas but we won't go into that. Usually my mom and I put up the decorations but if I take too long at it she does that mom thing where she complains about no one helping her with the decorations.

Yeah I mean I've had plenty of good ones and partially in thanks to my experience as well as many students suffering similar ones from other professors we were able to get a policy implemented that gets us up to five days of excused absences for bereavement.
