Alice's stomach hurting was the first thing she noticed when she woke up. She was incredibly hungry. As soon as she opened her eyes, she began to feel light headed. She was jolted against the person next to her as the van they were in must have hit a bump. Where was she? What was going on? Rocky was yelling for Rusty... Alice tried to reach for her own Pokemon, but her hands were tied. She could see however that everything she had was gone... and her clothes had been changed?! She leaned down, resting her head against her hands. She couldn't remember anything that happened in Lavender Town. There had been a bird, a legendary Pokemon, and that was all she could picture.

"I'm okay," she said in response to Meg's question. "Does anyone remember what happened?"

Meg was starting to panic about Rose.

Alice tried to reach over to the person next to her. They were wearing a sack over their heads. Alice couldn't tell if they were awake, but they didn't seem to be moving. "Are you okay?" she asked, leaning close to the bag. She looked for some way to get it off the person's head.
