Yeah when I was furloughed. It was very very nice to say the least. The boss was rude and totally uncalled for in his reasoning when he explained that to me later. Very untrue in his words. So now that he's not my boss anymore he can stuff it where the sun don't shine. I'll take that money and run. It was a nice payday for sure. Plus having that month off was nice. Would've been better if I had my PC and never sent it off for repair. Cause they didn't do a thing to fix it anyway.

COVID does make explaining resume gaps a little more...interesting. Most bosses seem to know what to do though. I got lucky with mine and presented myself in the best way possible. Where the competition I had seemed too lax. Maybe one of those that had been unemployed far too long and forgot to present himself in a "can do attitude."

And Neo. I'm sure they'll get you back at the office and give everyone chances before laying anyone off. Just keep up that passion and I'm sure they'll have reason to keep you around.
