As a side note -> I'm trying to set up a mirror for pe2k so that people can grab things when pe2k drops back into the abyss again.

As far as PE2K is concerned, why exactly was it shut down?

We're no longer sure if Ryan actually took it down himself (or stopped paying) or if it was shut down for a while because of the spam overload. The latter sounds more likely since it came back up now...

You're doing the lord's work. If you're serious about a donation drive for PXR I have no qualms sending y'all money.

When I heard it had gone back up I freaked. I haven't really looked around yet other than to get my first couple of stories saved, but hopefully it stays up for memory's sake.

Ryan doesn't care, and I doubt he has for the final 3-4 years. Doesn't surprise me that he wouldn't reply to any messages. Probably just shut down that part of his life all together.

I'm not sure if this is very common among Pokemon Forums, but a lot of us seem to be 18+, which is always good if we need to shake the money trees, right?

Sure. It's not a requirement, so I don't see anything wrong where a section or maybe just a thread of the forum is dedicated to donations, which means giving money voluntarily, to benefit PXR.

Honestly, I'm down. The precursor to this community was definitely a big part of my teenage life. The least I could do is give back and help with the burden.

I think we're not seeking donations right now, but I'm always looking for people who want to write or critique things for PXR
