Prompt question. Does it have to be something wholly natural, or can we include more fantastical elements (such as the "Mother Nature" piece you showed)? If so, to what extent can we take these elements?

Holy crapola! I WON?! XD WOW. Was not expecting that, but thank you so much! That's fantastic news! I loved ALL the entries, seriously. It's not fantastic news that your browser crashed though. D: That's terribly unfortunate. I did mine in Word because I was paranoid about something like that happening. x: I hope you can remember half the comments you made so you can do it faster this time!
Good luck to everyone again this week!

My favorite was @Lunar Latias; 's Mega Vaporeon. Holy cow it's amazing and I thought it was gonna win. Surprised it didn't, to be honest--looks like it's even done with traditional markers and such, and it's such a great idea.
It was such close competition though. There was only 6 marks between the lowest scorer and the top scorer and most people missed out on one of the top three places by one or two marks. The winners mainly won because the way the work was presented, not the work itself as all of the work was so high quality. For example, Pokemon Trainer Sarah presented hers as a view of Mega-Skarmory above the viewer as if it was flying over the person, this gave her more creativity points and boosted her up to 2nd place.
Well Done, everyone really deserved first place, but unfortunately only one could win, and after judging, yours got the highest score. I can pretty much remember what I marked the pieces as and what I said so when I have time tonight, I should be able to get it done within half hour. Thank God I have a good memory, haha.
It must have some aspect of nature. If it is something such as a Unicorn or anything else which is more fantasy than natural then it can't be entered, however, if it is something such as a humanization of nature such as mother nature or nature shown in a different manner than it is, such as, again in the mother nature example, where the fish are swimming in the air, then that will be allowed, as long as an explanation of what it is and how it works is given. Hopefully that has explained anything :)
>Implying that mine wasn't
xD I'm kidding; I thought either yours or Gemma's would win, or, well...any of the others, really. xD
Thanks. x) And yeah, they totally did! Ah I see. Well that's good then! Haha yes, a memory would certainly come in handy.
Backgrounds are one of the hardest things to draw for me so...I may not even enter this week. x: Depends I guess. xD

I really liked Gem's Mega Vaporeon too. I wish it was real because I want one haha. And congrats SF, your piece was beautiful and you definitely deserved to win! Such clean lines and shading!
This week's theme sounds pretty interesting. I suck at backgrounds. xD
