All artwork entered into WAR must be made once the theme has been posted and not a day, three days, or even a week before-hand.

That's how it's always been, to make it fair for everyone.

I'm sorry about all the questions, but i've got one more.

I have a picturethat I have been working on. It was started, but i only made it about half way through. If I finished it for the contest, would that count as being made for it, or because i started it beforehand would that still not count?

Sorry I haven't checked in a few days so I haven't answered any questions, I've been quite busy with college stuff. Anyway, It could still be counted for the contest. The 'no old work' rule only applies for work finished before the theme was set. This is so it gives everyone a fair representation of their current skill. As long as it fits within the criteria of the theme and you did not finish it before Monday when I set the new challenge it should be accepted. However, this will not be the case for all unfinished work. Only work recently started which is unfinished will be allowed to be entered. For example, if you started a piece a few months back, forgot about it until now and tried to enter that once you finished it, It would not be allowed. Hopefully that has helped. :)

Remember, if you are planning on entering, you have until Saturday, so you have just over two days. Good Luck to whoever is planning on entering.

Haha, it's ok, as long as they are helpful, I don't mind.
I will go for EST (Eastern Standard Time) as I specified that in last week's challenge. I didn't realize I didn't put that in the first post, I'll add it now.

Took around 9-10 hours. I work slow, could probably have gotten it done faster.

This was behind a vacation house I used to have. The place wasn't totally the middle of nowhere, but compared to where I lived at the time, it might as well have been. I felt totally at one with nature there, which is why I thought this picture would be perfect for the theme.

Yes, this is the one that i keep saying I was working on, and I finished it this week for the contest.

You only have a few hours left to enter the competition! If you plan to enter, make sure you do it in the next few hours.

There have have been great submissions entered so far. They are so different, but they all have their own shine that shows how the artist admires nature. Keep up the good work! I should have the results and next theme posted early on Monday. As I volunteer on a Sunday, I doubt I will be able to get them up on Sundays. I will try, but as I found out last week, it is quite tricky as I don't have much free time on a Sunday. I have a great idea for a theme, so I am looking forward to how you all show it in your art.
