If this event is anything like the one that happened in the UK with Charizard, people with X will get Heracross and Heracronite while people with Y will get Pinsir and Pinsirite. I think. I hope.

Pokemon also announced that participating GameStop stores will give people the Heracronite in X and Pinsirite in Y starting August 18th. If you keep reading, they announced it.
