So I am doing a thirty day photo challenge and the one I was dreading the most was Day 1. Self portrait. I hide behind the camera to not get my picture taken. I put it off and then last night did it. I spent about an hour trying to take a photo I liked. If I tried smiling I looked pained. If I didn't I looked angry. If I a laughed I looked psychotic. In the end I settled for this one because I was running g out of battery on my phone and needed that to remote trigger the camera.
Funny thing is that when I did it I hated it but it was the best I could do. All I could see was the flaws. Then I stuck it on Facebook and Instagram and a lot of people liked it (even a girl I used to be keen on who very rarely liked anything of mine) and I actually started to like it. Now I can't remember what I disliked about the shot.
